Big swells hit Popoyo

Everyone in Popoyo was in awe with the biggest swells we've seen this year rock the shores of Popoyo. Outer Reef was heaving, Popoyo was barrelling and The Wedge was breaking 100's of metres off from Magnific Rock.

Thanks to Steve Hackett, we've collated some photos of this epic swell for you all to enjoy.

This large swell has also cleaned off a lot of the sand from the surrounding rocky bottoms at Popoyo and The Wedge. So come the next large 17 second ground swell, we can expect some beautiful waves peeling off the rocky bottoms along the coast. Hopefully not too long away!
